Terms of Service
The basic terms that apply to Marell Docs projects.
Service scope
Marell Docs provides administrative document creation, organization, editing, proofreading, formatting, conversion, and related support based on customer-provided facts and instructions. The specific deliverables are stated in the accepted quote.
Not a law firm
Marell Docs is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice, legal strategy, or representation. No attorney-client relationship is created.
Customer responsibility
You are responsible for providing accurate, complete, authorized information and for reviewing the draft and final files. You remain responsible for how and where a document is used.
Pricing and payment
Projects under $250 are paid in full before work begins. Projects of $250 or more normally require a 50% deposit. Work begins after payment or deposit and complete intake information are received.
Revisions and added scope
One standard revision is included unless the quote says otherwise. New facts, a changed direction, or additional deliverables may require a revised price and schedule.
Turnaround
Quoted turnaround begins after required payment and complete information are received. Rush service is subject to availability and additional pricing.
No guaranteed outcome
Marell Docs promises the defined document service, not a business, employment, financial, property, administrative, or other outcome resulting from the document’s use.
Updates
These terms may be updated periodically. Project-specific quotes or written agreements control if they contain different terms.
